Who we are
We are a family of five who chose to step away from the noise and the rush, to downsize and rediscover what truly matters. Our journey brought us to an ancient timber home nestled deep in the northern Australian rainforest, a place where time slows, the earth speaks, and lessons of the old ways whisper through the trees.
Here, we are unschooling not just our children, but ourselves. We are rewilding, learning again how to live barefoot, sun-kissed, and grateful for the dirt beneath our fingernails. Hard labour and slower days remind us of the resilience and love our ancestors carried. Each seed we plant, each hive we tend, and each meal we prepare from our own biodynamic harvest is a step closer to a life nourished by intention and love.
Through Wild Harvest and Hive, our family hopes to weave together a legacy, one rooted in gratitude, community, and respect for the natural cycles that sustain us. Our work is not just for ourselves, but for our children and for the generations yet to come.
This journey is about more than honey or produce. It’s about forming deeper connections, with the land, with our neighbours, and with ourselves. It’s about reminding each other to slow down, breathe deep, and listen closely. The bees carry a high frequency of harmony and wisdom, and their hum calls us all back to balance.
Welcome to our world. Welcome to our family.
With love and best intentions,
S xx
